Homely Eats

Homely Eats is a recipe app which allows users to find recipes and recommendations from users.

I implemented Firebase to allow users to signup or login if they have an existing account. Users can also search for recipes on the homepage as well as select their preferred category. I also included a premium section where users are able to pay a monthly subscription to receive tailored recipes.

The recipes screen displays a list of ingredients needed along with the cooking time, customer ratings and difficulty level in creating the dish.

I did have trouble trying to hide the bottom navigation from the rest of the pages ie the “recipe page” but giving this was my first React Native app, overall I’m happy with the functionality and how the app looks altogether!
