My journey into the world of technology and design began unexpectedly. Initially hesitant about attending university, I found myself at a crossroads after losing my job as a hospitality resourcer and recruitment consultant during the first wave of the pandemic, COVID-19. It was during this period of uncertainty that I decided to pivot towards my passion for computers and design. Although it had been years since I had studied IT, I knew deep down that it was where I belonged.
Enrolling in university turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was a daunting experience at first, diving back into the world of IT after so long, but my love for computers and design served as my guiding light. As I journeyed through my degree, I became increasingly drawn to the realms of mobile application development and UX/UI design, fuelled by a determination to excel in these fields.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I'm a devoted mother, cherishing every moment spent with my child and finding inspiration in the joys of parenthood. Balancing the responsibilities of motherhood with my professional and personal interests has taught me invaluable lessons in time management, patience, and resilience.
